Vision

A youth society that is self sufficient socio-economically and politically

Mission

To empower the youth create their own economic opportunities, raise awareness about resource management and environment conservation, peace building in schools and communities, addressing devastating health concerns and also deal comprehensively with the HIV/AIDS pandemic.

Objectives

(1)   To promote environment conservation practices and management through:

·         Promote organic agriculture that avoids use of hazardous chemicals

·         Promote agro-forestry and intercropping

·         Involve the youth in making crafts work that are eco friendly for example baskets.

·         Create green parks with in the urban centers in Uganda, create environmental clubs in schools, involve the youth in clean ups

·         Improve the lives of slum dwellers by promoting hygiene and sanitation and also provide safe drinking water.

(2)   To fight the spread of HIV/AIDS through:

·         Guidance and counseling

·         Building the capacity of community volunteers and influential leaders as change agents.

·         Ensure that the youth leaving with HIV/AIDS access treatment and counseling and have a balanced diet. 

(3)   To reduce poverty and unemployment among the youth through:

·         Financial and material support

·         Microfinance support

·         Language and vocational skills training

·          Instill a culture of entrepreneurship in the youth.

(4)   Build communities of youth for future leadership through

·                      Peace building and reconciliation

·                      Promoting democracy in both schools and communities.

·                      Address the problem of gender disparity.
